eBay has released their preview for the 2019 spring site updates. There's a list of changes that will take place, but in that list, the only update that will result in changes within your AoB account will be to the listing duration options found in the eBay Attribute section of your listing page. As of Mid-March sellers will no longer be able to select various listing durations. Going forward from that time all listings will be listed as Good 'Til Cancelled. For more information please see https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/seller-updates/2019-early/index.html#fixed-price-listing

4shadows This update by eBay is most unwelcome. I usually try to use up the 50 free listings each month, and certainly can't afford what the insertion fees would be to have my entire inventory listed every month. With this change, I will have to remember to manually cancel listings before they renew.
Is AOB giving any thought to implementing something for us to support this? I'm told that InkFrog has already added a tool for their users to have listings automatically cancelled before they renew. Manually, this is a serious headache ... in software, it doesn't seem very complicated at all. If I mark it in AOB as 30 days listing, then cancel it after 30 days. PLEASE.

rodger Yes, this is definitely something we'll be supporting soon. Due to the nature of how things are done here we'll want to be careful to cancel the listings in ample time to not trigger the relist fees.

4shadows It looks like this new "feature" by eBay is now active. Listings that I set for 30 days, shown as 30 days in AOB, and n my seller view on eBay show a time remaining, have no end date shown on the listing as seen by buyers. Without some support on this eBay idiocy from AOB, I will have to remember to manually go to eBay and end listings before they auto-renew, or pay a lot of insertion fees that I really don't want to pay. Do I need to submit a ticket, or do you plan to do something about this very

samantha We are working on adding that functionality currently. The first version wasn't friendly and trashed Eric's store. He's scrapped his model and is building another that he says will be safer. This is the latest and most up to date information I have. You are welcome to enter a ticket if you wish, but I will also be updating this post as well as our Facebook group when I have more news to share.

samantha The new feature is now released and ready for someone to break it. =)
